A lot of error 40 function not implemented. Makes me wonder if the setup
installed libusb properly.
The vendor=1FE4 product=0054 is actually our device. It isn't detected
however.
Anything else I could try?
Thanks for the great help thus far.
Kind regards,
Felix Grützmacher

To be more accurate, the two endings are libusb and libusb-1.0. Those are
USB interfaces. If you have a 64-bit Windows then you'll need libusb-1.0,
and if you have a 32-bit Windows then you can use either. libusb is the
older version that's no longer being developed, and libusb-1.0 is the newer
version. libusb, even though it's old, does have one advantage - it has a
USB filter driver.

By the way: For older brltty releases, the ones that don't specify the USB
interface are libusb. That, of course, is because, way back when libusb-1.0
didn't exist, there was no need for us to specify the difference. And then
it took a while before we finally, for consistency, decided to add libusb.
