[BRLTTY] Interesting issue with contraction tables in current Git version

Dear BRLTTY community,

With a current BRLTTY version from Git (built via Alexander's Arch Linux
package), if I set the contraction table to English UEB or US Grade II,
then turn on contractions, every punctuation mark or symbol displayed on
the console is replaced by a textual description (e.g., "openbracket"
instead of a braille left square bracket sign).

Is this an oddity of my installation, or a bug?
