Hello,

For some reason my first attempts in getting this to work failed, subsequent
ones were successful.
It looks like I have to enable the mode using 2,5,7,8 (+ spacebar) and
disable the mode using 7,8 without the spacebar.

When navigating by heading, e.g. in the brltty documentation for Android,
TalkBack announces the correct heading, however the braille display is
located at the top of the page where the title is displayed.

Also I would like to know what is the way to read the page continuously, I
mean is there a way to have the page scroll ones you hit the border.
Currently I scroll using TalkBack's scroll gesture.

Anyway it's a large step in the good direction. Thanks for this.

With kind regards,

Henk.

Onderwerp: [BRLTTY] Android: Web page navigation.

Structural web page navigation on Android has now been implemented. From the
latest README.Android:

Pressing Dots2578 enters Web Page Navigation Mode. When in this mode, a
web page, when browsing with Chrome, can be structurally navigated by
typing dot combinations on your braille device. Press Dots78 to return
   to the default key bindings.

When in this mode, dots 1 through 6 specify the type of element to
navigate to. Adding dot 7 means move to the previous element of that
type, and adding dot 8 means move to the next element of that type. If
neither dot 7 nor dot 8 is added then the current direction is used.

The current direction defaults to (starts out as) next. Typing dot 7 by
itself sets it to previous, and typing dot 8 by itself sets it to next.

If the key table for your braille device defines a key to be the Left
Alt (meta) modifier then you don't need to enter Web Page Navigation
Mode. Just hold that key while typing the dot combination.

The following element types may be specified:

   Dots Char Go To Previous/Next
   1 a article
   12 b button
   14 c control
   145 d ARIA landmark
   15 e editable text
   124 f focusable item
   1245 g graphic
   125 h heading (any level)
   24 i list item
123 l link (visited or unvisited)
   134 m media
135 o list (ordered or unordered)
   1235 r radio button
   234 s section
   2345 t table
   136 u unvisited link
   1236 v visited link
   1346 x check box
1356 z combo box (single or multiple choice)
   2 1 level one heading
   23 2 level two heading
   25 3 level three heading
   256 4 level four heading
   26 5 level five heading
   235 6 level six heading
