Hi, thanks a lot for the prompt response!

Am I correct, though, that Mario's tool rather targets files whose
content is already completely available?
If so my use case looks slightly different to me. Concretely, what
triggered the question for me was that I am playing a MUD, I know this
may remember things to Aura who already mentionned the topic here. In
some situations it gets very important to know what is displayed on the
screen quickly as one needs to react to it in a timely manner.
But I think the feature would benefit beyond such a niche use case, for
instance to follow the output of a build or any other log, actually.

If there's nothing to autospeak on the current line, i.e. if the current line has remained unchanged, then look upward for what the previous line used to be and speak all new lines between that location and the current line.

In any case, this sounds like a very nice starting pointto me, at the
least. And I'd be happy to test.
