[BRLTTY] brltty 6.7 on rpi4

Ok I tried these commanes on my desktop first and they all worked perfectly.
not s oon the pi.  Well I mean they did not yield the answers I wanted, lol.
using shh into the pi I sent systemctl get-default and it said graphical.target.
Is there an easy way to make it boot to text by default?

Then I switched my usb cable to the pi.  It gave me the startup message and screen not intext mode.
space-v+8 yields "console not in use." then space-v-7 returns to "screen not in text mode."
Is there a braille way to send ctrl-alt-f1?  Thats what gets me into text mode on the desktop.
Or what do you suggest?

The word is usb, so append: ,usb

:-) She, like some devices, may leave a USB fingerprint even when turned off. I've had braille devices that did that.

I heard a manufacturer of those things say, during an interview, that his devices wrre programmed to say things like "you're being too rough with me". Anyway, those things, just like AI, will never replace actual people. I had a wonderful real wife for 40 years (till she died) and, 8 yers later, still miss her very much.

Even with those internal virtual screens, packets would be being ttansferred in both directions. If you're typing those chords on the Focus then I should be seeing them.

The cause for that message is that the system is switched to a graphical, rather than to a text, console. Try this command on the RPI4:

  systemctl get-default

It should respond either with multi-user.target or with graphial.target. This tells you which console the system will boot up to, with multi-user meaning a text console. Try using Ctrl+Alt+Fn to expicitly switch to a text cosole. Since F1 may be a graphical console, try switching to F2.
