Mario has a point.

Please, don't anybody ever accuse me of hassling Dave or the other 
developers. We owe them a tremendous debt and anybody who isn't grateful 
hasn't got a head. But the same kind of "better solution one of these years" 
applies to the contraction of "fedora". A quick and dirty and doubtless ugly 
one-line solution works and would benefit the users until a better, more 
elegant solution visible only to the developers can be worked out.

Please don't fault me for this,
