Can you test an older brltty (like the 5.2 you knew was working before on

Is tehre, rather, something we could add to the .bat file? Just guessing (as
I'm not a Windows person) but could it maybe be done by running brltty as an
operand to the cmd.exe command, which, in turn, could be run from install.bat?

Do you mean the "rev unknown" bit? That's harmless. It just means that brltty
was built outside of the working tree of the repository (which is indeed done
for the Windows build). To be ,more precise, the working tree is copied to
another locaton but its /git/ subdirectory isn't. Perhaps this could be
resolved by using the (now available) "git worktree" command within the mkwin
script.
