IMHO it would be good idea to put format version number at the beginning of
the header. It is unlikely that it needs changing, if we have character,
colour and text attribute data (because what else could we put in), but just
in case.

If somebody also implements support for 24-bit colours, full-unicode fonts and
text attributes, we might see more people using Linux VTs.
