[BRLTTY] OK, BrlTty 4.1 now works! but ...

Hi, with these options it workx but I don't understand why it should work
now:

./configure --enable-standalone-programs --disable-api --disable-contracted-braille --disable-pm-configfile --disable-gpm --disable-stripping --with-braille-driver=al --with-braille-device=usb: --with-text-table=de --with-speech-driver=al --with-screen-driver=lx,sc

I now have opened a console 
then killall brltty to kill my satellite's brltty;
and then as root ./brltty

What have I done wrong before ?
