I've just built from head of trunk and tested with a Braillex Trio
and it connects and works fine.  I'll test with a Braillex EL2D80s as wel
which is the display I am using on a daily basis.  Anything specific I should
look out for.

(And sorry, I wasn't aware that this is what you were blocked on...)

I'll write back if I see any issues.
